These USB Type A/B cables can be used to increase the distance between the OBD2 All-In-One unit and your computer or laptop. The All-In-One unit comes standard with a 3-foot cable. You can use one of the cables below instead of the 3-foot cable to increase the distance to your PC or laptop.

USB Extender Cables

These USB Type A-Male/A-Female cables can be used to extend the length of an USB cable.

We offer two lengths of extender cable plus an active extender that can go up to 150ft using a common CAT5 network cable:

Serial Extender Cables

These 9-pin RS-232 serial cables can be used to increase the distance between the OBD2 All-In-One unit and your computer or laptop. The OBD-II All-In-One is designed using a MAX232 driver (unlike some of our competitors that use a simple transistor circuit) which allows for wide voltage swings and enough power to drive a long serial cable.

The All-In-One is capable of driving even longer lengths of cable, so if you have a 100 foot extender you want to use, that would work just fine as well.
